Eating Kosher at Brandeis
There are several dining options here at Brandeis for those in need of daily Kosher meals. All Kosher locations are under mashgiach supervision through a campus partnership with KVH.
Sherman Dining Hall
Sherman offers both a Kosher and non-Kosher residential dining experience. Guests can visit the Kosher serving line for hot entrees, soup, salad, dessert, and more and then take their meal to eat with their peers in the community dining space. A dairy breakfast is served daily and meat and dairy days rotate for lunch and dinner. Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays are meat days and Tuesdays and Thursdays are dairy days. Sherman Shabbat meals are available by signing up through Brandeis Hillel.
A campus favorite, Louis' Deli is a Kosher meat retail location serving deli sandwiches, salads, soups, hot dogs, and more made fresh in the Usdan Student Center. A meal exchange can also be used at this location for select sandwiches.
Hoot Market C-Store
Visit the C-Store in the Usdan Student Center for a selection of pre-made Kosher grab-and-go sandwiches and salads plus a variety of snack options for your dorm or on the go eating. Stop by on Fridays to grab a fresh loaf of challah bread made fresh at Kutz Bakeshop.
